Mr. Flu Bug: Ah HA! Gotcha. You've been avoiding me for FAR too long.

Immune System: What do you MEAN, avoiding? I've just been busy...having a baby, feeding it...

Mr. Flu Bug: Exactly! You think it's okay to block me with all those goodies in your body? That's not fair. I haven't attacked you since....well, it was a long time ago.

Immune System: There is a reason for that, buddy. I like to run, keep lots of water in me....

Mr. Flu Bug: And this is where I saw your weakness! You haven't been running, you-

Immune System: I couldn't!!! Do you KNOW what it would have taken to hold the milk jugs in place???

Mr. Flu Bug: Not my problem. As I was saying....you stopped feeding Wee One, and so you stopped drinking as much water as you needed to flush out the likes of me. You got LAZY.

Immune System: I was tired of going to the bathroom all the time.

Mr. Flu Bug: The sacrifices you should make to avoid me seem small compared to the headache, achy neck, and shivers you've got...eh?

Immune System: Bite me.

Mr. Flu Bug: I already did. It's why you haven't sat at the computer and visited your blogland friends for two days. It's why you've gone to bed at the same time as your boys. It's why Hubs won't sleep with you in the bed, fearing he'll catch me. Smart man.

Immune System: Well, you need to leave. I have basketball to watch tonight, and blogs to catch up on. I'm heading to the drug store on the corner now.....

Mr. Flu Bug: Drugs will only mask me! Just ask Tom Cruise. I'll still be here, dancing...when they wear off. See you then!
