....he looks really grumpy here, doesn't he? But in my defense, he IS grumpy if Hubs isn't holding him. He whines for Hubs to pick him up. Such a BABY.
And then there was a T.O. who doesn't................stop.................talking.............all this equals a weekend well worth forgetting. But then Hubs helped T.O. find a constructive talking mechanism....reading Sorry! cards and playing a game while I.....
.....handled Wee One. He loves to rub heads, so we did. And the weekend wasn't a total waste. Before the winter weather arrived, I made my 10am hair cut with my fabulous hair-cutting friend. Anyone local need a new gal for your hair care needs? I'll hook you up. She's fab.
Looking out the window is a family favorite, obviously. When we're not spying on the neighbors,we're just opening the windows and enjoying whatever is outside to be enjoyed. Hubs showed the boys....snow. And cold air. I am shivering as I think about it. I can't WAIT for it to end. But they're obviously having a great time. Here's to finding silver linings. I guess the weekend wasn't so bad, after all.
And just as I was about to hit "publish" Hubs speaks up and says "I really enjoyed this weekend here with you guys. I know we didn't do much, but it was nice." Why do men have to go and ruin a perfectly good whine with some sweet? FINE....Wee One can ruin it. He just pooped his pants. :) I always knew my kids would have my back.

Go ahead and whine, you are justified in doing so. You are a mom for crying out loud!
I have been cleaning all weekend and it feels soooo good. Now, when my little tornadoes get back from their dads, lets hope they don't mess up my freshly cleaned house. :)
Have a good one!
LOL! You're hysterical.
I'm sorry you had such a crappy weekend, but there's no way I'm getting rid of mine so fast. Granted now it's yucky and rainy here, but it could be worse. It could be yucky and rainy AND I'd have to work all day. No thanks.
Your hair cut looks great, btw. I actually looked at the pics before reading the entry and thought, "Oh I didn't know her hair was so short" and went back to see if I'd missed it in earlier pics. Silly me.
P.S. You totally just one-upped me on blogger! For the longest, I've wondered how you do a strike through and I just never really figured it out!! Your turn to teach :)
That sounds like a really nice family weekend. I know it is not what you expected but cherish these special moments. Perhaps next weekend you can get a raincheck and head out to celebrate your anniversary in style.
Hahaha, sorry for rubbing it in. They are a young team right? They'll get farther next year. Plus they won the championship last year, we have to spread the NCAA fun around, you know! You can bug me when Michigan State loses to Louisville today.
Ugh, I am sorry about the snow too!
My whole family has a snotty cold I am NOT looking forward to catching, plus my Husband is such a wimp during colds, so I feel for you!
I reckon you could simply employ Wee One as a fulltime spy, that may give him enough to do to prevent grouchiness...
Sounds like your weekend wasn't so bad after all, except for the Jayhawks losing. It's nice to be able to whine and get it all off your chest, though.
Thanks for the chuckle...
What's up with the snow?!?! Before we went to bed last night, the weather man said a possible RAIN shower before 5 a.m. We woke up to blowing SNOW. WTF?!
I spent the weekend going nuts because we've been stuck in the house for 4 days now!
