Monday Mumbles

Ten random things - happy Monday!

1. OJ has been biting himself. Weird. What's even stranger is that he does it when he's playing. It's not like he's angry and finding a vent method. Is it a sensory thing? A "what will happen if..." thing?

2. Hubs and I always struggle agreeing on names for babies. Especially boy names because he won't even discuss girl names. He never thinks it's a girl baby so he "allows" me to pick whatever I want. I told him the other day that we are so awful at deciding on names that we shouldn't be allowed to have children. It's seriously a HUGE struggle for us. I've always liked our outcomes, but the process....good GRACIOUS.

3. Friday night we went and bought paint for our bathroom. FINALLY. Remember the flood of '09? That happened in the summer? And how we tiled our floor? Yeah, well, we never painted or put baseboards up. The bathroom has been in limbo for half a year. The ONLY bathroom in the house, mind you. When the boys and I were at my mom's, Hubs painted. Yea!! And baseboards are bought and ready to be finished. Soon. Very soon it'll look normal again.

4. TO lost his second tooth at my mom's this weekend. It was just a matter of time since his adult tooth was already pushing up. The baby tooth had no chance.

5. I park in an outside lot for work. The spaces are small. The lot gets full. There has been a small 2 door Mitsubishi parking in my vicinity for the last couple of weeks. An older lady. Older as in 50s probably. She backs into her spot. And she doesn't do a good job, or doesn't TRY and do a good job. I got tired of her taking up two spots one day and left her a note on her windshield: "If you could only take up one spot, that would be appreciated. This lot tends to get full." Since the note? She's been a very good parking buddy.

6. Doc appointment today. Weigh in and glucose testing time. Should be exciting!

7. I mentioned a hair cut and belly shots and I realize that I cannot upload and share pictures until I reconnect at home. Sorry about that, but I'm cheap and haven't gone to buy a router yet.

8. We've seen the sun and 50+ degrees for the last few days. My mood is suddenly much brighter. I love the sun. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

9. Pregnancy and the baby jumping on my intestines doesn't always do good things for gas in my belly. Last night I went to bed and Hubs came in the room. I gassed him out. And you know what? I didn't feel bad. Not one bit.

10. I visited so many of you this weekend and it felt GREAT. I may have only read one post, but I was THERE. For most of you. I'll finish up the rest of you this week (here at work...shhhh). Take care and have a great Monday!

I gassed out hubs last night too. I ate something for dinner that did horrible things to my stomach. After I gassed out hubby (mind you...it woke it) I had uncontrollable giggles. He got mad. I told him he would have laughed hysterically too if he had woke me with that!!

My Mom's sister had a houseful of people back in the day - Aunt, uncle, dog, and 3 boys and a girl - and they decided they needed a second bathroom when the second kid came along - so the Uncle and the oldest two sons started it as an add-on to a very old house - and ... it never got finished by them ... the youngest of them, the third boy is now 46 years old ... and not even after Aunt and Uncle died ten years ago and they wanted to spruce up the house to sell it... the new owners finished it about a year ago... it took 49 years...but it's done now!

So don't feel tooooo bad about your bathroom...

After my Mom passed away one of my guy friends named his daughter Amielle (ah-me-elle) Rose (Rose after my Mom). I love the name! It's so different...Amielle Rose. It just rolls right off of your tongue!!

Hope the baby's not jumping on your intestines too bad today lol.

It's always nice to look at a room that's been in disarray for a long while and see it coming together.

Sounds to me like the old lady parking buddy just wasn't paying much attention. Your note sounded as polite as possible. Hopefully she remains a good parking buddy.

Sunshine certainly improves *my* mood!

50s! Not too far off from us, at the moment. We're hovering in the low 60s with rain. Not very Southern California.

Biting? Well, does he stop before doing damage (i.e. bruise or whatever)?

LOL on the note you left to the lady taking up two spots. Good for you for standing up to her!

YAY for the sun!!! We've been seeing it a lot here in Ohio as well!

I just love all your mumbles. I've left a parking note at the office, too. Some people . . . I may not ever have any more kids because I can't think of a good name. We NEVER agree. NEVER. NEVER. He got lucky last time because she just didn't look like the name I picked. Damn it

Bahahahahahahaha...I LOVED that you gassed your hubby out. Sigh...that was good and funny.

Glucose test. Don't miss that one. Everyone says drink the carbonated, not the carbonated, get anything but orange 'soda'...ONLY get the orange 'soda'.

GAH..drove me nuts. Whatever I chose, tasted nasty.

Missed you!!
