Ten random things for your enjoyment this bright and cheery Monday. Okay, it might not necessarily be bright and cheery, but if we all pretend, the power of suggestion.....right?
1. I would like to give you just a few quotes that have been spoken to me. You can interpret them and envision the scenario ANY WAY YOU WISH. :)
2. "I'm not going to do it."
3. "I'm just in a mood today. Isn't everyone entitled to a mood once in awhile?"
4. I'm just a complainer. I complain. That's what I do, that's who I am."
5. Okay, enough of that. But I had to get it out. I.HAD.TO.GET.IT.OUT.
6. This weekend I was able to see three girlfriends, two of their mothers and my own, have lunch with all of them, and celebrate the impending marriage of my best girlie friend. And then we topped that off with dinner with my siblings and birthday cake for my mom. It was a wonderful Saturday.
7. I love my boys. All of them. Even when I really detest them (and each one was detested at some point this weekend), I truly love their presence.
8. Based on a conversation between myself, my husband, and his best friend...I wonder sometimes....where the lines blur between dreaming, living, working. Are some people so consumed with dreaming about what they WANT that they never actually live? Do we start thinking that our working IS our living, but then realize it's not actually living at all? Do we keep balance in our lives enough to know the difference?
9. OJ has regressed. He has been sleeping in his toddler bed since he was 15 months old, I think. And it's been okay. Until a week or two ago. Then he started waking up every few hours in the night, opening the door, and coming into my room. So I got fed up and offered him the crib in hopes that he'd WANT to be a big boy. Nope. He was EXCITED to be a baby and sleep in the crib. So that's where he is. Damn. I should have known.
10. I already have dinner prepared for dinner. All that has to be cooked are the biscuits. How exciting to actually have prepped ahead of time!! What's for dinner for you tonight?

Girl. Those quotes make me want to strangle someone! I can only imagine all the crap you have to put up with.
Yay for good times with the girls!
LOVE having dinner ready before I even get home... makes me feel so good all throughout the day.
Hmmm....haven't thought about dinner yet. But my husband would be very happy if I had it figured out BEFORE he got home from work tonight. I will work on that.
BUT I also thought some of your co-workers quote might work when he asks me "whats for dinner"!!!
Happy Monday!
Oh OJ, shall I ever tire of your antics? Nope.
And what's for dinner? I've no clue. My house is BARE. I'm living like a freakin pauper. Maybe I'll head to mom's and steal some food.
Maybe he just wants a change of scenery and doesn't view the crib as a "non-big-boy" thing.
I had a bag of microwaved popcorn for dinner.
Hey.. umm.. well.. at the risk of sounded retarded, I was looking at your header picture.. the one with the orange flower and.. I thought to myself (I did) "What the heck IS that thing anyway? A hat?"
...so.. what is it?
Oh we should so swap work 'quote' stories! I've heard a few of those myself since taking my new job!
Yay, regular updates again! We had leftovers tonight...for the last time for a week because hubby's march madness bracket beat mine and now I have to make 7 days of hot dinners=no leftovers :(
Beautiful photos in your last post!
I've got some dandy stories to share about work myself! HA
Aren't people at work just the MOST retarded?!?!? It would be pathetic if we didn't have such great lives outside of the office. I am actually relieved that I can leave and make fun of how bad it really must be for them
JEALOUS of dinner ready. JEALOUS. That never happens for me and I really want it to. Good for you!!
Where do you work...a women's prison?! OJ back in the crib, not good but FUNNY.
my mouth watered and stomach growled upon reading the word biscuits. yum.
Seriously, people say these things to you at work? Are you their supervisor? I would get my a$$ handed to me if I acted like that at work!
I love, love, love #8!!!
It's so true, isn't it? Do we even know we are not living while we are working? Hmm...you just might make me have to ponder that for awhile.
I so enjoy reading your mumbles! Decided to join in--today (4/5/10)
