I'm so sorry! I really meant to sit up and type a Mumbles to you last night, and then I had all intentions of typing it up this morning before getting the kids out of bed. But what do they always say about good intentions not worth squat? Yeah. That's me. BUT....it's still Monday and I can still Mumble if I want to.....
1. GOOD NEWS received today on a phone call with the director of elementary education in our district. We can most likely enroll TO in first grade instead of having him repeat kindergarten in the public system!!!!
2. Being an August baby, he's borderline on the age deadline. I'm certainly not a parent trying to push my kid to "be ahead" of the game, but at the same time I worry that he's excelled so much in his current "private" school setting that it'd be a disservice to him to make him repeat with children who aren't at least similar in reading and mathematics capabilities. He enjoys learning and I want to be sure that we really cement that desire and not hinder it with any sort of boredom.
3. Speaking of boredom, raise your hand if you think I'll be bored this summer with 12 weeks off work and a new baby to cuddle.
4. Yeah, that's what I thought.
5. As baby's due date approaches, I am getting anxious to see if it falls on my brother's birthday, June 11th. Do I want this baby to share a birthday or have its own day? For that matter, it could wait until June 15th and share a birthday with my sis-in-law. Hmm.....
6. My belly is getting so big that my ta-tas can rest on it. Or is it that after nursing two babies and being heavy and large while pregnant with a third, my ta-tas are hanging low enough to rest on my belly? Hmmm....another stumper.
7. While we're on the completely inappropriate "privates" discussion, I'm happy to report that my underpants haven't been cutting off any circulation throughout this pregnancy. I guess that means I'm not gaining as much weight in my bootie. Woo!
8. Once I hit publish on this post, I am going to focus my attention on the scrapbook I'm making for Till's grandmother for mother's day. I figured pics of him that we've taken over the years she would normally never see, so I've compiled some good one and putting them into a scrapbook for her. I'm not usually this nice, but I know it's something I'd appreciate so I hope she does.
9. I guess even if she doesn't, I do believe that Till is grateful. He's enjoyed going through the old photos.
10. So I've had a full dinner. My belly is full. But guess what? I want to eat something else. Pop tarts, maybe. Lathered in butter. Yeah, that's right. Don't judge.

I am so relieved to hear that you haven't lost any circulation and have a usable ta-ta shelf.

Pop tarts are never better than when they are lathered in butter. YUM. :)
How nice of you to make Till's grandmother a scrapbook. It sure is fun sifting through old photos.
June 2nd is a great day too! :-)
No you dont want them to share a birthday. This has always been an issue for me, but more so this year. My Son was born on my mom's birthday, my daughter was born on Mother's Day and one day before my sister's birthday and my hubby's birthday is one day before my SIL. Every year, when i plan my kids or hubby's parties, I have to take into account the other person. Are they not getting left out, is someone planning something for them, does it coincide with dates? It's a pain in the BUTT! And because I have to plan for my kids, no one (my dad or my BIL or my Brother) plan anymore because they figure we're getting together for my kids so it's left up to me every year!!! I am so frustrated! This year my sis said she's not coming to my daughters party because it's her birthday weekend too and she's tired of sharing it! WTH? Then tell your no good hubby to plan something for you and be there for my daughter who is your Goddaughter and niece! Ugh...So let your baby have their own if its up to you. I thought it would be special, but its more headache.
